As a passionate and dedicated luxury studio maternity photographer, I've had the incredible privilege of witnessing the transformative journey of women as they step into the radiant glow of motherhood. My lens is my storyteller, and I'm here to share the empowering narratives of these incredible women, one captivating image at a time.
When I was pregnant with my son, I also realized how truly beautiful (even the not so enjoyable parts) pregnancy is. I was amazed at what my body was doing, the changes I encountered every day. When I had my maternity photos taken I was able to see myself in a new light as a woman, I felt unstoppable. And that's why I do what I do, so other woman can feel that way too. I know that, for many, it can also come with moments of vulnerability and uncertainty. My goal is to turn those moments into strengths, to help you see yourself in a new light, and to capture your journey with authenticity and grace.
Photography is more than just snapping pictures; it's about capturing moments that speak to the soul. My mission is to empower women by celebrating the beauty, strength, and radiant changes that come with pregnancy. Every portrait I take is a tribute to the extraordinary journey of creating life.

Growing up around a large family full of loud Newfies always laughing with joy, a huge part of my life revolves around my values towards family. Without them I wouldn't be where I am today. From my parents buying my first camera to my dad helping me with all my prop building, from my mom supporting me and pushing me through all my trials and errors, to my sister being annoyed with all the modelling I needed her to do, now to my husband being my literal backbone and my biggest every day support system and my son being the reason I strive to give him the best life possible. My photography business started and is still growing due to their unfailing love and support. Whenever I am feeling discouraged or down, I know all I have to do is talk to my family for encouragement. Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.

I have an obsession. Vanilla cake with buttercream icing from a local bakery called Smashing Cakes. Seriously. Most normal people buy cakes for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers. Well, for me I buy them simply for the weekend haha! It is my ALL TIME FAVORITE dessert. My guilty pleasure. Maybe this is a weird thing to put down as my favorite thing? But i'm just being honest!! She has the best cake, I get her to make ALL my special and non special occasion cakes.

I can confidently say that Teneya is the best maternity/newborn photographer in Edmonton. She did my maternity and newborn shoots, and the resulting images are so beautiful. Her professionalism and the stunning pictures from my maternity shoot made me return to her for my newborn's shoot. She handled my 3-week-old so carefully; he slept like a dream, and the pictures are gorgeous! Her warm personality is the icing on the cake for me. Did I mention that she provided the wardrobe for both shoots as well? Just perfection!

I cannot fully put into words how amazing our experience was with Teneya from start to finish. I reached out to her for maternity photos, she was so quick and efficient and I was never left with uncertainty or questions with how everything would go. The photoshoot was excellent and the photos exceeded our expectations. We also never felt like we had to wait long for any of it. "I had THE MOST AMAZING and liberating and unforgettable maternity session with Elizabeth Faye Photography! I have never ever had a photo shoot so I was incredibly nervous and had zero confidence and she directed me so easily on how to pose and stand and was so professional but still felt like you were with one of your besties just taking pictures! Her pictures turned out INCREDIBLE and she makes you see yourself in a whole new light. She is hands down worth every penny and I will most definitely be going back to her for my newborn shoot!"

She assured us that she we will not regret choosing her as our maternity photographer, which was true.
